The Company seeks the services of a Security Intelligence Officer (xl)
The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the organization by identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities, monitoring emerging threats and trends that could affect the company’s operations, personnel or assets, and developing response plans with Security Management to mitigate the risks and minimize their impact on the company.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
Develop and implement a comprehensive security intelligence, Conduct risk assessments and threat analyses.
Produce regular intelligence reports and briefings for Security management.
Monitor and assess emerging security threats and trends.
Collaborate with other teams within the company and security department to ensure that security risks are identified and addressed.
Adhering to all other assignments that are given that are lawful and fair.
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in Security and Risk Management, Criminal Justice, Security Management and Operations or related. e A degree in above mentioned fields of study will be an added advantage.
Experience in the intelligence gathering and collating.
Sound understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security intelligence.
Good understanding of security risk management frameworks and methodologies, which includes intelligence.
Computer literate with good working knowledge of excel word, PowerPoint and outlook. Good communication skills.
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative: ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
